Lite includes the secret, git and leak guards at no cost.
What Adams checks,and what it does not.
A plain account of what the guards catch, what stays on your machine, and where the limits are.
// what it checks
Six checks
Keys and tokensLite: a key or token about to be committed is stopped, with the file and line. The value is never printed.
Risky git commandsLite: commands that rewrite shared history or discard work are held until you say yes.
LeaksLite: files and settings that would expose private material are flagged before they leave your machine.
A scoped security checkPro: you pick a scope and a separate agent checks it. Findings are ranked P0 to P3 and fixed only on your yes.
Secrets in historyPro: the secure check looks for keys in old commits, tracked env files and risky dependencies.
Safe undoPro: the undo restores only the files the AI changed and keeps your own edits.

What stays private
Your code stays with youAdams runs inside your Claude Code or Copilot CLI session and checks your work on your machine. Your code is not sent to our site.
Pro files are sealedPro files go only to an activated device and never ship inside the Lite download.
Installs are verifiedThe signed bundle is verified before it unpacks, and updates refuse an older version than the one you have.
Your license is localIt is kept in your system keychain where one exists, not in your project.
Payment is StripeCheckout is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
No consent bannersWe honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and the privacy page says what is true.
// limits
Honest limits
Not a guaranteeNo scanner finds every secret and no AI review finds every flaw. Adams reduces the chance of a mistake, it does not remove it.
Not a penetration testThe secure check is a code level review. For systems that hold money or sensitive data, hire a professional.
Not a backupGuards stop mistakes. Push your work to a remote and keep backups of what matters.

Questions
Does Adams send my code anywhere?
No. It checks your work locally inside your session.
Does Adams read my secrets?
It looks for secrets to stop them. It never prints a value, only the kind, the file and the line.
How do I report a security problem?
Write to hello@getadams.com and a person answers.
What happens if my key leaks anyway?
Replace it at the provider first, then clean history. The leaked key page walks through the order.
