Guide

Write a briefthe AI can use.

Five short answers turn a vague wish into a request that gets built right the first time.

// the steps

Six steps

01 Who is it forName the person and what they get. "Freelancers who send invoices" beats "users".
02 What it must do on day oneList the two or three actions that make it useful. Write what is out for now, so the scope has an edge.
03 Look and tonePoint to an example you like or give one word for the feel. Without it, the AI picks a default.
04 LimitsState the deadline, the budget and anything that must not change, such as a brand colour or an existing database.
05 ProofSay how you will know it works: a page you can open, a test that passes, a number that appears.
06 Read it backAsk the AI to restate the brief in its own words before it builds. Correct the misreadings now, while it is cheap.

Questions and a spec, done for youProPro asks the few questions that change the result, one round with a recommended answer for each, and saves the settled answers as a spec. The blueprint does the same for a whole project.

Questions

How long should a brief be?

Half a page. If it takes more, the job is probably two jobs.

Should I include technical choices?

Only the ones you are sure of. Let the AI recommend the rest, then agree.

What if I do not know the answers?

Say so. Ask the AI to give a recommended answer and reason for each, and accept or change them.
